About the chronicles

I’m a 30(ish) year old founder based in the UK, obsessed with all things outdoors, sustainability, creating products and telling meaningful stories.

If you're here, you may know me as the owner of 'Ryde.' Or maybe you just know me as Larn, friend, person, human. Maybe you misheard me introduce myself and you now know me as 'Narnia' like the rest of the population 😂

It’s important to get across that I am just like you, no trust funds, no secret code, just a relentless drive to travel and explore the world. So I found my ‘why’ and began slow travelling with a purpose.

For the last five years I have been on an mission to revolutionise the outdoors industry, teaching myself and learning from others as I go.

I’m a big believer in that everything in life is either a blessing or a lesson and in the last few years - exploring entrepreneurship and digital nomad life, I’ve had plenty of both.

The Chronicles exists for two reasons:

Put the kettle on

If you’ve landed here, thank you. During my own business journey, I was asked countless times for ‘help.’ Support for everything from how to make a tech pack, how to find a supplier to how to navigate work/life balance and being a digital nomad. I wanted to create a place to collect my thoughts because if it could help even one person, amazing. It’s worth it.

Maybe you have a dream project and don’t know where to start. Maybe you’re further into your start up journey and looking for some advice or a sense check that you’ve not gone completely mad. Maybe you have no idea why you’re here in the first place. All of the above are okay, stay a while and finish your coffee.

On a mission

If you are a budding entrepreneur, founder, content creator, and/or you want to have a behind-the-scenes look into start up life and how to set up your own brand, look no further. Take a front-row seat into this rollercoaster adventure I'm on to keep creating culturally relevant, meaningful, products and content that moves the world forward, one day at a time.

If you want to go fast, go alone, if you want to go far, go together.
